[Bug 191148] [NEW] artsd 800+ processes

Public bug reported:

Booting the Kubuntu 7.10 amd64 livecd and starting the installer results
in 800+ artsd processes and a massive cpu load (8+ on a dual cpu
system).

Only way to stop the process from spawning after trying killall artsd is
to chmod -x /usr/bin/artsd and then run "for i in `ps auxf |grep artsd|
awk '{print $2}'`; do kill -9 $i; done"

After that the installer becomes responsive again and finishes.
