** Attachment added: "screenshot of adept manager showing wrong results searching for "kdebluetooth""
   http://launchpadlibrarian.net/20601226/adept_searchingkdebluetooth

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: adept

I upgraded from Kutuntu 8.04 to Kubuntu 8.10, amd64. Default language is
US English, Spanish is the second language, and the keyboard layout is
- latam (latin american).
+ latam (latin american). Adept manager version: 3.0 Beta 4 (Sheldom)

The search box of Adept Manager just does not work, or it returns wrong results. For example, Looking for a bluetooth client, typing "bluetooth" (with or without quotes) in the search box, it includes the following results:
kdebluetooth,..., knmap, kguitar, kdesudo, kolourpaint, kpat (a card game!), ... and a lot of another results, about a hundred.

Adding tags rather than refine the results they enlarge them, for example, checking these tags: client, application, program, utility (one by one or all together) it includes results like:
...e16menuedit, dlume, gaby, gcipher, ..., tagtook,... (periods indicate more results, a lot of more results)

As additional information, I do not understand why some part of the
interface of adept manager is in spanish being the default language US
  English. Please, see the screenshot

  Just it is very frustrating.

  Regards,
