Public bug reported:

After upgrading to Ubuntu versions of KDE 3.5.10, I noticed a quite
prominent kicker bug: When using multiple desktop wallpapers, kicker's
external taskbar does not update the transparent background in areas
where no window widgets are placed (that is, the rightmost area when the
taskbar is not full, and the whole taskbar when no windows are open).
The only way to get an update is by clicking the "hide" arrow at the
rightmost spot and then bring the bar back--which will still contain a
small graphic glitch on the very edge, where you will be able to see the
leftmost part of the wallpaper.

I also noticed a change in the way the applet configuration arrow is
shown, not sure if it's related.

Pictures:

Desktop at startup, notice that since there has been no desktop switch yet, it shows up instead as a gray space:

This is what happens when switching to another desktop (after "refreshing" the taskbar by hiding it and unhiding it):

Here's the related glitch when "refreshing" the taskbar. Notice the lower-right corner...

As you can see the black area from the leftmost area has been "moved" to
the right.

And here's the other change I noticed... which I'm not sure about its relationship with this bug.

That arrow there used to look different.
