I have done extensive testing on this issue and it doesn't even seem
like KNetworkManager is doing anything at all.  There are no debug
messages.  Its as if I clicked on a non-menu item when selecting a
network.  Even creating a new connection has no effect.  I have tried
both my Realtek 8185 using rtl8180 and my USB TrendNet TEW-424UB using
zd1211rw.  Both had no results.
