Upstream marks it as Resolved, "Worksforme" against KDE 4.1. Sounds like
they aren't interested in fixing it for 3.5.4 (version bug was filed
against).

"Working in KDE 4.1. If this continues to happen, please file bugs for each 
protocol that it happens in, since the protocol plugins are the ones 
responsible for providing the chat window with the information"
