Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kicker
I noted that when I have some python applications on systray (such as emesene, deluge) and for some events (new installs or...don't know, reloading kbfx) kicker is reloaded, this apps disappear from systray and there is no way to put them there again unless you kill process and restart the application. I think the bug is in kicker, but I'm not sure.
I have kubuntu 8.04.
To clearly explain the problem I made this video that shows the problem.

Uhm, the icon of qt-recordMyDesktop disappears too..I thought was only a
problem for python but it seems not.
** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu)
