Public bug reported:
On trying to use the fish protocol with konqueror, the following error is output:
"Unable to create io-slave: klauncher said: Error loading 'kio_fish'." And as it suggests, I can't connect.
This behaviour is only since updating all my kde4.1 packages via aptitude (an unconventional method I admit) from the repository
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-members-kde4/ubuntu hardy main --
fish worked fine with kde4.0.3; so it may be that I'm missing a dependency that didn't quite make it?
Running konqueror through gdb (although there's no konqueror4.1 binary
compiled with debugging symbols available through ubuntu yet afaik)
gives:
Starting program: /usr/lib/kde4/bin/konqueror
