This error has returned in the latest release of Ubuntu - Hardy Heron.
I am trying to share folders on my ubuntu box and I get the exact same error as Townk
I am logging into the box remotely using Ubuntu's built-in remote desktop server from a windows box, this might be the reason the error is poping up
