Same problem here.

   ~$ kaffeine -v
   Qt: 3.3.8b
   KDE: 3.5.9
   Kaffeine Player: 0.8.6

I've tried all the xine video driver settings.  The only one that works
is xshm.  All others won't init:

   Error: Can't init new Video Driver opengl - using auto!

   07:14:14 PM: xine: found demuxer plugin: image demux plugin
   07:14:14 PM: xine: found input plugin : file input plugin
