[Bug 220248] [NEW] knetworkmanager stops kmail from getting email on dialup

Public bug reported:

There may be a bug with Knetworkmanager and the usage of dialup / usb
option icon 225 modem

I could not collect my internet email through Kmail but I could collect
local mail. Connection to the internet was done via the usb Icon 225
modem, so Knetworkmanager was inactive.

Once Knetworkmanager was shut down, the connection for Kmail then became
possible and email flooded in.

I discovered this due to this thread how to solve the situation

Where there are others where the problem has been resolved by closing Knetworkmanager.
