Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: knetworkmanager

When I initially boot up and log on, KNetworkManager does not have my
wireless network in the list of available networks. When I enter the
network details manually it sees it and connects. Repeated invocation
of "iwlist scanning" prints out "wlan0 No scan results" a couple of
times, and in between shows a list of networks including mine (but
missing one listed by KNetworkManager). Sometimes automatic connection
takes place while I am entering the network details. I can't say for
sure whether it has connected on startup since the upgrade to Hardy.

System: fully updated Kubuntu Hardy

Network details: IPW 4965 AG or AGN, 802.11G router (Fritz!Box WLAN
3030, firmware 21.04.33 updated a few months ago), WPA1 TKIP encryption.
The three networks seen by the application on startup are shown as
62Mb/s bandwidth and respectively WPA, WPA1 and 2 and no encryption.

** Affects: knetworkmanager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
