[Bug 147273] GL Screensaver crashes X

Public bug reported:

When any GL-screensaves is activated, X crasches without and comment.
This appears since apt-upgrading somehow between Sept. 1 and Sept. 16.

This bug does not seem to be related to #68150 or #93348 (too old) but
may be to #144663 and #78449. But glxgears terminates: 'Error: couldn't
get an RGB, Double-buffered visual' and I have no idea, what that means.
