[Bug 141143] In Qt4 apps, menus appear on wrong screen

Using a dual screen setup, if I place the lyx window on the second
screen, any application menus pop up on the first screen, at the
appropriate y position, but   jammed up against its right hand side.
This also happens with texmaker, and both use qt4 for rendering windows.
