I can confirm this on a up-todate Kubuntu gutsy as of today.

Linux andreas-laptop 2.6.22-11-generic #1 SMP Fri Sep 7 05:07:05 GMT 2007 i686 GNU/Linux

I get the exact same backtrace. The backtrace origins from a crash in
kcmshell, so I've added the kdelibs-package to this bug.
