My problem, regarding the "restart" button occurs in Ubuntu 7.10 tribe
5. In addition, after I execute "control+alt+backspace" to manually
restart Ubuntu, when the system comes back after entering my name and
password, it also pops up a "Nautilus" window and sometimes other
windows like "movie player" for no apparent reason. I have to manually
close these windows. The windows were not on the screen at the time I
executed the button command to "restart".

Also, after a restart in this manner, I no longer see the "GL compiz
tray icon" in the upper Gnome tool bar, even though I have GL Desktop it
set to always appear in the tray.
