This might be related to
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/24630 since I'm
pretty sure they use the same backend (ghostview).

Here's how to reproduce the bug:
1. Have latest kubuntu packages for gutsy (as of 2007/Sept/04)
2. Download http://www.cs.uiuc.edu/class/fa07/cs421/mps/MP2/mp2.pdf
3. Open with kghostview
4. Zoom in and out like crazy
5. Watch it crash
