Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: amarok-xine

- Installation:
  - Fujitsu S6410P
  - Intel Core 2 Duo Centrino
  - RAM: 2Gig
  - Kubuntu Gutsy Gibbon 7.10 Tribe-5
  - Amarok v1.4.7
  - KDE v3.5.7
  - Linux 2.6.22.10-generic x86_64
  - All updates completed

Steps to receive error:
- Install Gutsy Tribe-5
- Ensure codecs for MP3, etc have not been loaded
- Try to load MP3 files into playlist
- Amarok will show a percentage (eg 6%) for loading and will remain on that level indefinitely. When you click on the playlist load button to stop no response is received. After clicking on the Amarok window close button a small window shows that has not refreshed completely. However, enough shows to indicate that the MP3 codecs are missing.

Problem is resolved when the xine codecs have been loaded. However, for
a new users the whole process and non-responsiveness from Amorak does
not inform them what the problems is and how it can be fixed.
