[Bug 107796] Re: Kate + DejaVu Sans no longer works

The same bug is present in Kubuntu 7.10. The display is still distroted
if I use "DefaVu Sans" fonts: extra whitespace here and there, the
cursor is not displayed in the correct location, etc.
