Well, one day (less actually) away from 7.10 release, and this bug it's still there. Shame. Fortunately, I came up with a solution: using acrobat reader 7 from the medibuntu repository does work. It's the only pdf viewer which prints landscape documents correctly in kubuntu 7.10.
I can also add that ubuntu rc 7.10 shows the same disfunction.

One question: is it really necessary to use svn quality software in a
release, like what's happening with ghostscript? Hell, even Debian sid
is not using it...
