[Bug 150873] [KUbuntu 7.04] Konqueror not showing the bookmark bar anymore

Public bug reported:

I'm not able to either view the bookmark bar or to create a bookmark folder to be used as a bookmark bar.
Moreover, when I add a new bookmark with Bookmark-->Add a bookmark I don't see any new bookmark in the menu.
I'm running KDE 3.5.6.
