Now, I have reproduced this also in Gutsy. However, I agree with you that procedure is too complicated. This is not a "bug" but a normal behaviour of this application. I think that your suggestions may be took into consideration as wishlist.

- When i close konqueror with the textbar hidden and i open again
- konqueror, the texbar is visible.
