Having the same problem with Kbabel :

QGDict::hashKeyString: Invalid null key
kbabel: ERROR: : couldn't create slave : Unable to create io-slave: 
 klauncher said: Unknown protocol ''. 

They seem all to be related to an ioslave issue...
