Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: knetworkmanager

I have a laptop which packs an unsupported wireless modem that can be
made to work with the help of ndiswrapper. After installing ndiswrapper
and the windows driver, I can safely connect to my WLAN through the iw*
commands. Unfortunately the knetworkmanager application does not offer
any support for the WiFi network interface.

It would be nice if knetworkmanager could handle the network interfaces
provided after the default install with the help of ndiswrapper.

** Affects: knetworkmanager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
