Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: k3b

I have kubuntu on a Dell E1705 with a slimline DVD-RW drive. The drive
can eject, but not load the tray. Under the old kubuntu (6.x), if I did
an ISO burn with verification, k3b would burn the DVD, eject the drive,
and then prompt me to manually load the DVD. Under the new kubuntu
(7.x), if I do an ISO burn with verififcation enabled, k3b burns the
DVD, then gives me an error. If I manually verify the DVD, it usually
turns out to be OK. However, if I do the burn without verification
enabled, k3b normally burns it, ejects it, and returns "success."

So it looks like k3b has introduced problems with verifying burned DVDs,
possibly only when the drive won't load.
