My keyboard special keys are detected by amarok but haven't worked since 6.04. Mind you, they didn't work with WMP in XP either so I don't bother using them. Every time update a package the shortcuts seem to need resetting regardless of whether amarok was updated. -- Global shortcuts not working https://launchpad.net/bugs/94272
