I have Edgy & Amarok 1.4.5 and I haven't noticed skipping of tracks any
more. I don't have crossover enabled but could try if that matters. Now
sometimes Amarok starts playing podcast streams not from beginning but
some 1min 30s from the start but that's another issue, and works OK if I
start playing the stream again.

Will do crossover testing.
