I get a similar problem with several applications. For instance, if I
run xpdf, I get sometimes, after I quit:

X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3
  Major opcode:  20
  Minor opcode:  0
  Resource id:  0x1e0007e

and at other occasions:

Warning: Attempt to remove nonexistent passive grab
