[Bug 118863] [Gutsy] extra icons on desktop in kubuntu daily 20070605

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdm

Installed Kubuntu using alternate CD daily build 20070605. On logging in
there are icons for home, system and trash on the desktop that should
not be there. See attached screenshot. Also the kdm login screen has
changed. It now has a user list on the left with the usual login and
password boxes on the right. Don't know how to get a screenshot of this.
