I had the same problem with the 2.2 - Now I use the Ubuntu-package from
the ktorrent-homepage (Version 2.2.1).

At first the bug seemed to be fixed as there is no overlaping on the
sides anymore.

Here is what I get now:

ktorrent remembers the size and produces the same error after restarting
kde. It is possible to change the size on the sides - but not in the
height.
