[Bug 46212] Kubuntu Dapper Screen Saver -- clock or random

Since the display properties, ie driver for s3 unichrome started working
correctly and I was able to change my display properties to include the
video driver w/ a plug and play monitor (about thurs 5/19/06) and
changed the display resolution to 800X600 the kde screen saver will no
longer activate on its own.  At the login splash screen, display will go
blank.  In screen saver setup, I can go to test mode and it appears
operational, however when idle the screen saver will not initiate.  have
tried setting several different minute intervals.  Using the adept
updater almost daily.
