[Bug 123927] kopete MSN not working behind firewall

Binary package hint: kopete

I have activated the HTTP method and set the http_proxy as well as the PROXY env variable to http://host:port. No authentication is necessary.
With the same setting I can connect to MSN using Pidgin, but kopete reports:

kopete (msn): WARNING: [void MSNSocket::slotSocketError(int)] Error: 10
(Verbindung abgelehnt)

Any help/feedback would be appreciated
