[Bug 82034] Adept proposes upgrade of Kubuntu and then exits

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: adept

Kubuntu 7.10 Herd 2. Last version of Adept (2.1.2ubuntu10). If I press
"Fetch updates", it asks: "A new version of Kubuntu is available! Click
next if you wish to upgrade now." (What new version?! I have already the
newest one). If I click "Next", it exits. If I click "Cancel", I can't
download updated packets (about which report "Adept notifier") and have
to use Aptitude instead. The same problem was in previous version,
2.1.2ubuntu6, too.
