The interesting thing that I found out last night is that I really was
having a complete sound failure before.  I have 2 L400s and the second
had not be fired up since December.  When I powered it up last night, I
got a complete sound failure (with some kind of overload warning).
After I downloaded updates, it was the same as the one we were working
on, so one of the changes between 30 Dec and yesterday straightened out
the basic problem and what's left is I have 61256.
