You can fix that in Ubuntu from:

https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/edgy/+source/adept/+translations

Change edgy with the distro release you are using.

Once changed in Ubuntu, at the beginning of next month, a new language
pack will be released with that translation fixed.

Of course, that doesn't mean that you shouldn't fix it upstream.
Coordination with upstream is essential.
