Thanks for the hint.  Looking in the source package this appears to be a
Debian/Kubuntu specific change.  The Debian specific patch,
kdepim-3.5.5/debian/patches/kubuntu_05_ktnef_kmenu_tidy.diff,  does not
appear to be documented in the debian/changelog or debian/KUBUNTU-
DEBIAN-DIFFERENCES.

A notional patch to fix this (by removing the Debian specific patch) is
attached.  The patch was written with 3.5.5 Edgy source, but it should
be generally correct for Feisty and 3.5.6 too.
