Good afternoon,

I noticed there hasn't been any activity on this bug since 2006-07-10
and am wondering if you are still experiencing the problem w/ KPDF?
Also you have mentioned having problems in different versions of KDE.
Have you tried to report this bug upstream to KDE people as well to see
if the problem lies there?

More help would be appreciated if you are still having these problems
including the version of Kubuntu that you are using
