without the patch, the icon is correctly displayed.
after a fresh reboot, the icon is displayed when the device is plugged in before login but it's not automatically mounted.
And it starts being automounted at startup only when the device has been manually mounted before.

it means: (from a fresh reboot, device plugged in)
- log in => good icon not mounted, log off
- log in again => good icon, device not mounted, click on the icon, device is now mounted (icons is now a mounted removable device), logoff (the device is automatically umounted)
- log in again => good icon, device is mounted

I don't have Feisty installed, and I don't have time to try.

the bug I'm reporting is against Edgy, PLEASE TRY TO REPRODUCE with edgy
! (and set the tag accordingly)
