hard drive started running continuously after PC idle  "for some time" (>1hour ??).
Screen blankl
Not responsive to keyboard inputs
Turned PC off, and goot crash report on restart
Running under Gnome
All latest updates installed
No unusual programs or progs from non-official ubuntu repos
Crash report attached
