as stated on http://lists.kde.org/?t=111581271000001&r=1&w=2 the problem
was that I was using an online imap folder, and not a disconnected one.
maybe ubuntu could add a more meaningful messagebox like "This feature
is supported only on disconnected IMAP accounts"?
