OK, no, I don't have this problem in Edgy. But it is extremely irritating in Dapper, to me making Dapper almost unusable, so if it would be feasible to backport the fix, it would be great, since Dapper is the long-term-support release... :-) -- randomly exits https://launchpad.net/bugs/53803
