This is really not a bug, but is is more a bug than a wish. I'm a
software developer myself, focused on GUIs and usability. I recently
created a Kubuntu configuration for me and few others whose computer
skills vary from 0 to "ok, I almost can handle Kate". I found the login
screen in Kubuntu Gutsy rather hard to figure out. The user images were
a nice touch in Gutsy, thanks for that. But here is few points I like
bring to developers' attention:

1) I chose passwordless login for the most novice computer users. It was still very hard to login! The password field was not disabled as it should which was confusing. The actual login was a pain in ass then, no hitting enter in obvious place since no password was required. Double-clicking on the user icon, great, but not too obvious. Suggestions: passwordless login -> disable password field; ok/enter nice and educational image but lacks a caption, so not so obvious either!!
2) There was this icon which wasn't so obvious to click. My mother could never figure out how to shutdown the computer from the login screen. These options should be presented more clearly, like few more icons that group the options (so not every options needs an icon which complicates).
3) Icons without captions are always a risk!!!!

Ok, little polishing. But isn't this what the #1 bug is all about?

** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Medium
         Status: Confirmed
