I had never tried that before, but I can confirm that I can only use up
and down arrows to navigate this view, not right and left. I'm using
Gnome and Gutsy (7.10).

The thing is, the left and right arrows are mapped as seek back / seek
forward shortcuts in Amarok, so they're not available to navigate the
iPod view. If you'd rather have these keys available to navigate iPod
view, you can disable the shortcuts and iPod view will work just fine
with the keyboard (I tried it).

Perhaps it would be clever to override any shortcuts mapped to the right
and left arrow keys when an entry in the iPod view has focus?
