[Bug 15001] Re: Administrator mode not working

I have experienced identical behaviour.

A complete re-install of Kubuntu Gutsy has not helped.

I have filed

Bug #175909 in kde-systemsettings

because this bug is marked closed.

The messages on console when the Administrator Mode button is clicked are:

that it is not already running, remove /root/.DCOPserver_kaveri__0
and start dcopserver again.
