[Bug 174566] (Hardy alpha) Monitor&display utility fails to load in the Kubuntu live CD

On the Kubuntu Hardy Alpha 1 live CD, when I try to open the
monitor&display configuration window from System Settings, the following
occurs:

When I click "Administrator mode", an error box pops up and says
"Command not found!" and the window's border does not change to red.

No configuration files have changed by me, and the only non-default
thing installed is Firefox.
