Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdepim

It appears that since I've upgraded to kmail 4:3.5.7enterprise20070810-0ubuntu1 (in Gutsy), launching KMail for the first time causes heavy disk usage, for several minutes.
My guess is, that this is related to scanning all the mails in my "Local folders" somehow, where I have ~95000 mails.

Using "lsof" it shows that there are two kio_file processes on
directories in ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/mail/.

I have not experienced this before the upgrade to the "enterprise"
packages.

** Affects: kdepim (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
