Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kmenuedit

This probably isn't kmenuedit's problem.

KOffice and OpenOffice have several parts: word processor, spreadsheet,
presentation graphics, etc.

KOffice and OpenOffice use different labels. e.g.
+ one says "Word Processing" the other "Word Processor"
+ one says "Spreadsheets" the other "Spreadsheet"
+ one says "Database" the other "Database Creator"

etc.

Here are some pairs:
  GIMP - Krita
  KWord - OOo Writer
  KSpread - OOo Calc
  Kexi - OOo Base
  KPresenter - OOo Impres
  Inkscape - Karbon14
  Ekiga - WengoPhone
  Opera - Firefox - Konqueror - Lynx
Kopete - Gaim (Pidgin) - Koversation
  Dia - Kivio

In KDE Menu Editor, you can see these unmatching labels in the fields
'Name' and 'Description'

It's a very small thing. Overall, Kubuntu is quite polished, but the
polish would be much improved if these small labels were made consistent
with each other.

** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
