[Bug 131893] konqueror metabar is invisible

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdebase

When I open the metabar in Konqueror, I see the KDE theme with the
gears, but no information is displayed.  When I right click and select
"reload theme", I can see what appears to be the information in the
metabar, but it only flashes and then disappears.

I am using Ubuntu Gutsy Alpha 4 on an old Sony Vaio PCG-XG19 with a
neomagic chipset.
