I hate giving people "you filled out the wrong form" kinds of answers,
but you've filled out the wrong form.  It's not so much a bug as it may
be more complex to get it working with that particular system.  What you
need to do is present this as a question in the Answers section of
Launchpad: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/

Thats' for support requests.  Sorry to send you off in another
direction.  There's actually a very good chance you can get Kubuntu
running on that system.  Be sure to include specifics about the system
in question such as brand and model and video card type if you know it.
