Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kde-systemsettings

This one happens with 100% reproducibility on my system. Here's how to
see it:

a) Install a number of GTK engines other than the default gtk-qt-engine (apt-get install gtk-engines).
b) Go to "System Settings -> Appearance", and choose the "GTK Styles and Fonts" tab.
c) Set the GTK style to anything other than the default ("clearlooks", for example).
d) Apply, and exit the System Settings.
e) Re-open the System Settings. Your choice of GTK engine was "forgotten".

I am hoping that the major regressions I am seeing in Feisty with GTK
apps (Firefox won't last more than 5 minutes without crashing!) are
somehow related to this bug, so it can be fixed.
