Is anyone from Ubuntu ever going to respond to this?

I have been lurking for months waiting for a resolution.

For the record... same issue here. LaserJet 2200dtn.

Been happening since some time during 6.10. I just upgraded to 7.04, and
was appalled to see that the bug had not been fixed.
